Case management is a collaborative process designed to help an individual to achieve a specified goal. To be successful, you need skills in service coordination, communication, networking, risk management, occupational health and safety, and matters specific to case management.

This course, offered by the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP), delivers all these and more. It prepares you for case management roles in the community services sector, including:

Upon completion, you may apply for admission into ACAP's Bachelor of Applied Social Science programme with advanced standing equivalent to eight modules.

Flexible Study Time

Offered by distance education, this course is available both full-time and part-time. With full-time study (three modules per term), you'll gain your diploma in 16 months.

Practical Assessments, Not Exams

There are no exams for this course. As ACAP values experiential learning, the College uses assessments to determine if learning outcomes have been achieved.

ACAP's assessments combine both theory and practice, and can take the form of interviews, self-critiques, essays, journals, projects and presentations. Most modules contain 3 assessments.
